The Takamine RNV460C marks the beginning of Takamine's new Revival series—a collection of special limited-production instruments that revisit some of the company's most beloved guitars with updated materials, appointments, and electronics.

Inspired by the acclaimed TNV460C Nashville Series model, the RNV460C combines classic Takamine craftsmanship with a premium tonewood package and a sophisticated new electronics system. Its comfortable NEX cutaway body features a solid Engelmann spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back, and Indian rosewood sides, paired with a mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard.

Elegant appointments reinforce the RNV460C's flagship character, including abalone purfling, an updated fingerboard inlay design, and tuners with pearl-style buttons. The gloss natural finish lets the spruce and rosewood take center stage.

Dual-Source Takamine Electronics

The RNV460C is equally at home onstage. Its CT4-DX preamp combines Takamine's renowned Palathetic under-saddle pickup with a factory-installed TCPU-1 soundboard contact transducer. The dual-source system gives the player extensive control over the amplified sound and allows the character of the two pickup sources to be blended for a natural, responsive performance.

Reviving a Takamine Favorite

The RNV460C isn't simply a reissue of the earlier TNV460C. Takamine has revisited the Nashville Series concept with an Engelmann spruce top, new decorative appointments, and updated electronics while retaining the elegant NEX format and premium rosewood construction that made the original design so appealing.

Built in Takamine's Japanese factory, the RNV460C offers the craftsmanship, stage-ready electronics, and refined feel expected from the company's professional instruments while standing apart from Takamine's regular-production catalog.
