Takamine GN11MCE NS NEX Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Natural Satin

The Takamine GN11MCE NS pairs Takamine's distinctive NEX body shape with all-sapele construction, a comfortable cutaway, and stage-ready electronics. Its warm, balanced acoustic character and understated Natural Satin finish make it an especially appealing choice for fingerstyle, acoustic blues, roots music, singer-songwriter accompaniment, and everyday playing.

When it's time to plug in, Takamine's TP-4T electronics provide convenient onboard tone shaping and a built-in chromatic tuner, making the GN11MCE equally comfortable at home, in the studio, or on stage.

Warm All-Sapele Construction

The GN11MCE features sapele for the top, back, and sides, giving the instrument a warm, woody character that suits everything from intimate fingerstyle passages to rhythmic acoustic accompaniment. The low-gloss Natural Satin finish complements the sapele visually while giving the guitar a clean, understated, old-school appearance.

Takamine NEX Cutaway Body

Takamine's NEX body shape takes inspiration from a jumbo while offering a comfortable, balanced feel and a versatile acoustic voice. The cutaway provides easier access to the upper frets, making the GN11MCE a practical choice for players who move beyond open-position chords and traditional accompaniment.

A mahogany neck with laurel fingerboard, 644mm scale length, and comfortable 42.5mm nut width give the guitar a familiar steel-string playing feel.

TP-4T Electronics

The onboard Takamine TP-4T preamp makes moving from acoustic playing to amplification easy. It features an onboard equalizer for shaping your amplified tone along with a convenient built-in chromatic tuner, so you're ready to connect directly to an acoustic amplifier, PA system, or recording setup.
