Built around a real mechanical spring pan, this limited-edition SurfyBear Compact delivers the splash, drip, and dimensional wash associated with classic standalone spring-reverb units. Its green Pet Sounds artwork celebrates The Beach Boys' landmark album while the compact aluminum enclosure keeps the unit practical for a modern pedalboard.

The circuit follows the behavior of the classic Fender 6G15 design with reliable JFET technology in place of tubes. An original Accutronics Type-8 spring pan supplies the physical reverb response, so the sound comes from actual moving springs rather than digital modeling.

Two independent Mixer controls let you prepare separate dry-to-reverb blends and switch between them with the Select Mixer footswitch. Dwell controls how strongly the signal drives the springs, Decay shapes the length of the reverb tail, Tone adjusts the wet signal's character, and Volume provides clean output-level control. A dedicated True Bypass footswitch preserves the dry signal when the effect is disengaged.
