The Sterling by Music Man StingRay RAY35 Maple Top combines classic 5-string StingRay design with a striking spalted maple veneer top finished in 3-Tone Sunburst. The natural figuring of the spalted maple gives each instrument its own distinctive appearance, while the transparent pickguard allows the character of the top to remain visible.

Underneath the figured top is a contoured nyatoh body paired with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The 34" scale, 12" fingerboard radius, and 22 medium frets provide a familiar full-scale 5-string playing platform, while the six-bolt neck attachment contributes to the solid StingRay feel.

Electronics center around a powerful Alnico humbucking pickup and 3-band active preamp, giving the RAY35 the punch, clarity, and active tonal control associated with the StingRay design. A three-way toggle provides additional tonal options, while the Sterling by Music Man-designed bridge and open-gear tuners complete the hardware package.
