The Sadowsky MetroLine Vintage P/J 4-String Bass combines the punch and authority of a classic P-style pickup with the articulation and clarity of a hum-cancelling J-style bridge pickup, giving players exceptional tonal versatility for both stage and studio. Built in Germany to Roger Sadowsky’s exacting standards, the MetroLine series delivers the signature Sadowsky tone—clear, balanced, and powerful without harsh highs or muddy lows.

This model features a lightweight chambered American red alder body finished in Solid Candy Apple Red Metallic High Polish, paired with a smooth maple neck and Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard. Sadowsky’s renowned active electronics provide bass and treble boost along with the Vintage Tone Control (VTC) for passive-style tone shaping, plus a convenient push/pull bypass to run the bass in passive mode when desired.

With its sleek undersized J-style body, ultralight Sadowsky tuners, and quick-release bridge, the MetroLine Vintage P/J offers outstanding balance, comfort, and professional performance.
