A rare 2024 Limited Edition Sadowsky MetroLine 5-string, made in Germany and featuring a stunning marbled Padouk top.

This special-edition MetroLine pairs Sadowsky's sleek, undersized J-style body with an Okoume body, roasted American maple neck, and Madagascar rosewood fingerboard. The Natural Transparent Satin finish lets the distinctive grain of the Padouk top take center stage, complemented by black hardware for a clean, modern look.

The M/J pickup configuration gives this bass an unusually broad tonal range. A passive hum-cancelling stacked J-style neck pickup is paired with a quad-coil Alnico V humbucker at the bridge, with switching for multiple pickup configurations. Sadowsky's active 2-band electronics provide bass and treble boost along with the Vintage Tone Control (VTC), while push/pull preamp bypass provides passive operation when desired.

This instrument is #020 from a worldwide Limited Edition of only 135 pieces across the 4- and 5-string versions. It includes the Sadowsky PortaBag, MetroLine genuine leather bass strap, fretboard protector, hex tools, and individual Certificate of Authenticity.
