Built around the punch and growl of the 1990s and early-2000s StingRay, this 4-string pairs an ash body with an Alnico 5 Music Man Session humbucker and a three-band active preamp. Independent bass, middle and treble controls provide direct tone shaping for stage and studio.

A roasted maple neck with an oil-and-wax finish offers a smooth playing surface, joined to the body with a six-bolt attachment. The roasted maple fingerboard has an 11-inch radius and 21 frets. A compensated nut, Music Man Schaller open-gear tuners and Music Man Session designed bridge support accurate tuning and intonation.

The Music Man Session Series is the flagship of the Sterling line, combining classic StingRay character with upgraded appointments. A premium Music Man Session gig bag is included.
