For decades, the SR series has offered bass players a modern alternative, combining a fast-playing neck, lightweight body, and versatile electronics. The Ibanez SR500ALMHL continues that tradition in a left-handed configuration, delivering comfort, precision, and tonal flexibility for today’s bassist.

The Okoume body provides a bright, balanced tone with excellent resonance, while the 5-piece roasted maple and walnut neck is heat-treated for enhanced stability, durability, and resistance to temperature and humidity changes. Paired with a rosewood fingerboard and medium frets, this bass offers smooth playability and accurate note articulation across the entire range.

Bartolini BH2 humbucking pickups deliver a tight low end, punchy midrange, and smooth high-frequency response. Their dual-coil design and extended blade pole pieces ensure even string-to-string balance and clarity. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ provides intuitive tone shaping, with carefully tuned frequency centers for musical, usable adjustments.

Additional tonal control comes from the 3-way mid-frequency switch and EQ bypass, which allows passive operation—transforming the treble knob into a global tone control when engaged. The MR5S bridge offers adjustable string spacing for a customized playing feel.
