Built for players who want the fast feel and sculpted balance of the SR series with an extended five-string range, this bass combines a quilted maple top, resonant okoume body, and powerful active tone shaping. The Dragon Eye Burst finish highlights the figured top, while cosmo black hardware completes the modern appearance.

The five-piece maple and walnut neck is designed to provide tonal clarity, attack, and long-term stability. A jatoba fingerboard contributes a focused midrange and crisp high end, and its 305 mm radius supports comfortable movement across all 24 medium frets. The 34-inch scale and compact 16.5 mm string spacing retain the quick, familiar SR playing feel across the low B through high G strings.

PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups deliver a strong signal with enhanced high-frequency response while preserving the definition and presence of the low end. The Ibanez Custom Electronics three-band EQ provides independent bass, mid, and treble control, while the three-way Power Tap switch expands the pickup voice. Tap mode produces a dynamic single-coil sound with superior articulation, Series mode supplies a warm full-humbucking response, and Power Tap mode combines single-coil clarity with an emphasized low end.

The Accu-cast B305 bridge provides precise intonation adjustment and efficiently transfers string vibration into the body. Factory-installed D'Addario EXL165 strings plus a .130 low B string provide a balanced feel and defined response across the instrument's full range.
