Designed as an approachable five-string with the fast feel and compact balance of the SR series, this bass pairs a lightweight poplar body with a slim maple neck and jatoba fingerboard. The Blue Moon Burst finish brings out the body contours, while chrome hardware keeps the look clean and understated.

The 34-inch-scale GSR5 neck measures 45 mm at the nut and uses a 305 mm fingerboard radius for comfortable movement across all five strings. Medium frets, white dot inlays, and 16.5 mm bridge spacing provide a familiar playing surface without making the extended low-B range feel cumbersome.

Two passive Dynamix H pickups deliver a full, powerful response with separate volume controls for flexible blending. A conventional tone control handles high-frequency shaping, while the active Phat II EQ adds up to 15 dB of low-frequency boost for extra weight and authority.

The B15 bridge provides individual intonation and action adjustment with solid tuning stability. Factory tuning runs from low B through high G, making the GSR205 ready for expanded-range bass lines without abandoning the straightforward control layout of a traditional instrument.
