With neck-through construction, powerful active electronics, and exceptional sustain, the BTB605 delivers a modern bass tone that sits perfectly in today’s mix.

Finished in Transparent Gray Flat, this instrument combines striking aesthetics with the powerful, articulate tone the BTB series is known for.

The 5-piece Maple/Jatoba neck-through design provides excellent stability, long sustain, and smooth access to upper frets, while the Okoume body wings contribute warmth and resonance. A Rosewood fretboard with medium frets delivers balanced tone and precise playability.

Ibanez equips the BTB605 with α1 pickups designed to deliver clarity, punchy mids, and tight low end. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ and 3-way mid frequency selector (250 / 450 / 700 Hz) allow players to dial in everything from deep supportive lows to aggressive mid-forward growl.

The MR5 Mono-Rail bridge isolates each string for maximum vibration transfer and articulation, improving sustain and note definition across the fingerboard.
