Better Beats, Better Practice

Note Mixing lets you build custom beats by independently adjusting five note-value levels. Four selectable metronome sounds include a human voice count that helps you keep track of your position in the measure. Thirty PCM rhythm patterns cover styles such as 8-beat, 16-beat, shuffle, funk, jazz, blues, techno, house, country, reggae, clave, salsa, rumba, bossa nova, samba, waltz, tango, mambo, cha-cha, and march.

Rhythm Coach

Four training modes help develop timing accuracy, speed, and endurance. The built-in microphone detects acoustic drums and rubber practice pads, while the Trigger input accepts an optional Roland V-Pad. Time Check, Quiet Count, Gradual Up/Down, and Step Up/Down exercises provide structured ways to measure progress and strengthen rhythmic control.

Flexible Connections

Guitarists and bassists can connect directly to the instrument input and monitor through headphones without additional equipment. Two headphone connections accommodate 1/4-inch and stereo miniature plugs. MIDI input allows synchronization with an external sequencer, and optional footswitches can provide hands-free start/stop and memory selection. The Reference Tone function supports ear-based tuning practice across a five-octave range.
