Its 37-note velocity-sensitive Slimkey keyboard with aftertouch provides expressive playability without taking over your desk or performance space. More Than a MIDI Controller

At the heart of KeyStep 37 mk2 is a powerful polyphonic step sequencer capable of patterns up to 64 steps with 8-note polyphony. Record in real time or step by step, overdub ideas, chain patterns together and capture expressive automation.

The 16-mode arpeggiator goes far beyond traditional up-and-down patterns with generative pattern styles designed for musical experimentation. Build an arpeggio, convert it into a sequence and continue transforming it as your track develops.

Mutate, Spice & Dice

KeyStep 37 mk2 is designed to generate ideas as well as capture them. Mutate can instantly transform sequences and arpeggios into new musical variations, while Spice & Dice introduce controlled randomness and variation to keep patterns evolving during composition or live performance.

Four dedicated, mode-aware encoders provide immediate access to Sequencer, Arpeggiator, Chord and Mutate parameters with minimal menu diving. Switch to MIDI CC control and the encoders provide access to 16 assignable MIDI CCs across four banks for hands-on control of external gear and software.

Built for Hybrid Setups

Connect virtually any combination of modern, vintage and modular equipment. KeyStep 37 mk2 provides USB-C MIDI, full-size MIDI DIN In/Out, 3.5 mm Sync In/Out and four configurable CV/Gate outputs for Pitch, Gate, Mod 1 and Mod 2.

The modulation CV outputs can be assigned to sources including velocity, aftertouch and modulation, giving modular and analog systems expressive control normally associated with software-based setups. A TRS pedal input supports sustain or expression control.
